The Concordia College Archives will be sponsoring a campus-wide poetry contest throughout the month of April in order to celebrate National Poetry Month. Students, faculty, staff and fans of the College Archives are invited to join the contest. Poems can be written in the individual’s choice of style, but the poem must be about Concordia College in some regard. Poets should email their poems to [email protected] by April 19th. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges consisting of the College Archivist, students, and a guest judge, Bill Snyder, who specializes in poetry within the English Department. The winner of the contest will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Cobber Bookstore. The winning poem will be added to the College Archives collections and will also be featured in The Concordian.
